NEW Service Appointment Tool

With a limited staff and a high volume of phone calls, bike shops want to use technology to improve customer service and payroll efficiency. That's why we now include an online Service Appointment Tool free with every SmartEtailing website package. We have created a comprehensive help center article to walk you through the complete setup process.

As with all new features, if you have any questions please feel free to reach out to our Client Success team for personalized assistance. We’ve deployed this new feature under beta status in order to collect hands-on feedback from retailers like you.

Financing through PayPal

Make it easy on your customer who wants to go big this season and set up PayPal as a payment option so you can activate the "Financing" option. There is no change to your fees or when your payout occurs, and gives the customer flexibility in payback. Activate it in Site Manager under Commerce > Payment Methods.

Fraud protection

Frog protection? Right, fraud protection. It is no secret that doing business online presents potential risks, just as doing business in person. Here are our Tips for Limiting Fraud. Be sure to check our 'Fraud Alerts' at the top of your open order screen for trends we are seeing. For all orders you receive, do your due-diligence.  Reviewing incoming orders for potential fraud can help provide you the best protection (and best profit margin).

Gear up for a new year

We saw an incredible number of people discover (or rediscover) the joys of riding a bike last year. Continue to help shoppers find the cycling equipment and services they need to make the most of every ride. As bike inventory becomes more plentiful, make sure that you have content to attract, inform, and convert customers on your website.
