You may have heard that Google rolled out a new search algorithm on April 21st. The goal of this change is to present consumers with mobile friendly websites when they are searching on their phones.

Google says that close to 50% of all searches today are made on a mobile device. Several months ago they announced that mobile friendly websites will start to rank higher on mobile searches when they roll out this new algorithm change. The good news for you is that we have systems in place to make sure that Google knows your most important pages are mobile-friendly. This means your links will rank higher than your competitors whose sites are not mobile-friendly.

There are two ways to know if Google sees your pages as mobile-friendly or not.

Do a Google search on your phone for products you display on your website. Links to your site should include a “Mobile-friendly” label as shown below.
